a perfectly insulated and heated floor
Starting from the excellent degree of thermal insulation guaranteed by our bodywork (double shell monocoque in fiberglass insulated with polyurethane foam) we have further improved comfort by offering a revolutionary underfloor heating system, additional to the standard heating system.
This system, integrated with the traditional heating system, allows more heating efficiency, lower consumption and unparalleled comfort in cold seasons.
How does it work?
The floor is made with a sandwich system for a total thickness of 2 inches.
In the floor we have created a ducting (again in fiberglass) inside which the hot air from the heating system (from the Truma Combi or the Webasto) is sent. On the upper surface of the floor we have laminated a very thin perforated aluminum plate in such a way as to distribute the heat evenly throughout the passenger compartment.
The floor is firmly glued, along the entire perimeter, to the internal walls of the monocoque by means of a special fiberglass lamination.
The sandwich floor further strengthens the entire vehicle structure, giving greater stability to the entire bodywork and ensuring high torsional rigidity.
