In 1977 we were the first company to launch a recreational vehicle with FIBREGLASS MONOCOQUE BODYWORK, a single-unit, self-supporting sandwich structure that still stands apart from the structure of ASSEMBLED PANELS used for traditional motorhomes.

Unlike traditional motorhomes with a structure made from assembled panels (aluminium, Styrofoam and wood), the Wingamm one-piece fibreglass and polyurethane foam structure ensures a series of key advantages:

We aimed at combining the excellent resistance of the monocoque bodyshell with a design that would make the bodywork more aerodynamic and as streamlined as possible.

Clean lines and a skilfully-made connection between the cabin and the monocoque are essential to ensure they blend in seamlessly with the cab of the base vehicle.

After years of research and design we are the only manufacturer that can offer a monocoque bodyshell with an entrance door and exterior hatches with the same smooth design as usually found in the automotive world.

AUTOMOTIVE-STYLE ENTRANCE DOOR

The new entrance door has an innovative design smoothly integrated with the bodyshell, just like something from the automotive world, i.e. without obsolete outer frames and hinges.

The hinges, entirely designed by Wingamm’s technical team, are hidden within the bodyshell.

The new door is sturdy and elegant, and fitted with thermal double glazing and an internal blind.

We chose to fit the original Fiat Ducato handle for the door to ensure a safe closure.

The central locking system uses the same locking system as the Ducato cab.
